"Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth."
 - Muhammad Ali

I don't know why, but engineers get really excited about involving kids in science! I know I do. Maybe it's because seeing kids get excited about our work gives us a little "boost." Maybe we want to relive our youth. In any case, there are always plenty of outlets to share your engineering knowledge with kids.

Since I started in engineering, I've been fortunate enough to be around many wonderful organizations, such as SWE (Society of Women Engineers) and Kid's Tech University, who take the initiative to organize events to get kids and engineers in the same room. From participating in these events, I've been able to share my love of engineering with many youngsters and ultimately convey to them that, "Hey, engineering is awesome!"
